Safety Culture is one of the strategic pillars of the GDES Group. The efforts made in recent years have enabled solid progress toward the established objectives<\/span>: zero workplace accidents <\/span>and the prevention of industrial incidents at our clients’ facilities. Following the consolidation of the RedEr safety culture and human factors program, GDES decided to continue evolving its approach toward more participatory and positive models.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In this context, the <\/span>Safety II<\/span><\/b> program continues to expand within the Group and, on this occasion, has rea<\/span>ched its workplace in <\/span>As Pontes (A Coru\u00f1a)<\/span><\/b>, where the <\/span>GDES Wind<\/span><\/b> team participated, during the month of February, in a new session to define and adopt <\/span>Safety II Commitments<\/span><\/i>. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

SAFETY II: a positive approach focused on human success<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n

In collaboration with the facility’s personnel, a process was carried out to identify and refine a <\/span>list of exemplary best practices<\/span><\/b>, observed in daily operations and essential for “things to go well.” This exercise represents explicit recognition of our colleagues’ professional work, highlighting the value of the <\/span>Human Factor<\/span><\/b> as a guarantee of safety and efficiency in our operations.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Once compiled, the best practices are shared with the entire team. This includes field work personnel, who during this period also support tasks at the Workshop. <\/span>
\nFrom there, the team commits to <\/span>maintaining these best practices, transmitting them to new hires, and reviewing them periodically <\/span><\/b>to ensure they remain valid and useful.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

This methodology represents a paradigm shift by balancing attention between “human error” and <\/span>“human success”<\/span><\/b>, promoting a constructive and preventive vision of Safety.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The Safety II program continues to progressively expand to more GDES projects and facilities in different countries. Its continuity is a clear demonstration of this shared path and evidences the essential role of our professionals in consolidating a modern, collaborative, and people-oriented Safety Culture. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
