Asimismo, se retiraran todos los componentes activos del interior de la piscina del reactor y se descontaminar\u00e1, desmantelar\u00e1, segregar\u00e1 y acondicionar\u00e1 todos los elementos activos o contaminados que se encuentren en el edificio del reactor y en el canal de irradiaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Estas labores, que\u00a0 tendr\u00e1n una duraci\u00f3n de 16 meses y en la que se implicar\u00e1 un equipo de hasta 20 profesionales italianos y espa\u00f1oles, se llevar\u00e1n a cabo en dos etapas. En la primera, se determinar\u00e1 la f\u00f3rmula que garantice que el agua tratada, aproximadamente unos 750 m<sup>3<\/sup>, cumpla con las condiciones radiol\u00f3gicas adecuadas para su eliminaci\u00f3n en condiciones seguras.<\/p>\n<p>En una segunda etapa se procesar\u00e1 el agua y se extraer\u00e1n los materiales activados y contaminados de la piscina y de otras \u00e1reas de la instalaci\u00f3n, procediendo a su gesti\u00f3n de acuerdo con la caracterizaci\u00f3n radiol\u00f3gica resultante.<\/p>\n<p>Lainsa, es actualmente l\u00edder nacional en la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios de descontaminaci\u00f3n, desmantelamiento, protecci\u00f3n radiol\u00f3gica y limpieza industrial en centrales nucleares e instalaciones radiactivas. Esta licitaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica en Italia nos brinda la oportunidad de posicionarnos como empresa de referencia en desmantelamiento de instalaciones nucleares a nivel internacional.[:en]A team of up to 20 professionals will work for 16 months at the nuclear installations of the Centro Interforze Studi Applicazioni Militari (CISAM), which houses the RTS-1 Galileo Galilei nuclear research reactor.\u00a0 The contract amounts to more than 3.5 million Euros<\/p>\n<p>The Italian Ministry of Defence has commissioned the Grupo Dominguis\u00a0to undertake the dismantling of the\u00a0<em>RTS-1 Galileo Galilei<\/em>, an open pool type research reactor using light water as moderator and coolant that has a nominal power level of 5 MWth.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4596\" src=\"https:\/\/ingmark.com\/corp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/02\/Italia2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ingmark.com\/corp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/02\/Italia2.jpg 200w, https:\/\/ingmark.com\/corp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/02\/Italia2-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/>This project, which has a budget of more than 3.5 million Euros, includes activities for the dismantling of the research reactor at the CISAM, the centre for studies for military applications located in San Piero a Grado, close to the city of Pisa.<\/p>\n<p>The work awarded to Lainsa consists of the treatment of the water from the RTS-1\u00a0<em>Galileo Galilei\u00a0<\/em>reactor pool and other storage tanks, with a view to it being transferred to authorised installations following radiological verification.\u00a0 The team will also be in charge of removing all the active components from inside the reactor pool and will decontaminate, dismantle, segregate and condition all the activated or contaminated elements housed in the reactor building and irradiation channel.<\/p>\n<p>These tasks, which will last 16 months and involve a team of up to 20 Italian and Spanish professionals, will be performed in two stages.\u00a0 The first will include the determination of a formula \u00a0that guarantees that the approximately 750 m<sup>3<\/sup>\u00a0of treated water are in radiological conditions suitable for safe disposal.<\/p>\n<p>In the second stage the water will be processed and the activated and contaminated materials will be removed from the pool and other areas of the facility and managed in accordance with the resulting radiological characterisation.
