[:es]Por primera vez en un pa\u00eds europeo, Espa\u00f1a acoge la celebraci\u00f3n del taller de mentoring de la NEA <\/strong>(Nuclear Energy Agency), organizado conjuntamente con WiN Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>, \u2018Mentoring a Future Generation of Female Leaders in Science and Engineering\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

El taller, de orientaci\u00f3n internacional y dirigido a ni\u00f1as con inquietudes cient\u00edficas, se llev\u00f3 a cabo 24 de septiembre en \u00c1vila, en cooperaci\u00f3n con el Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear de Espa\u00f1a (CNE) y bajo el marco de la 44 Reuni\u00f3n Anual de la Sociedad Nuclear Espa\u00f1ola.<\/p>\n

En el taller han participado m\u00e1s 40 ni\u00f1as estudiantes y ha contado con la asistencia del Director General de la NEA, M. William Magwood<\/strong>, el presidente de la Sociedad Nuclear Espa\u00f1ola, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Gago<\/strong> y Rosario Velasco,<\/strong> vicepresidenta del CSN. Adem\u00e1s, al evento asistieron grandes personalidades del sector como Yeonhee Hah<\/strong>, Directora de la Divisi\u00f3n de Protecci\u00f3n Radiol\u00f3gica y Aspectos Humanos de la Seguridad Nuclear de la Organizaci\u00f3n para la Cooperaci\u00f3n y el Desarrollo Econ\u00f3micos (OCDE<\/strong>) y Tina Taylor <\/strong>Directora de I + D y Subdirectora de la divisi\u00f3n Nuclear del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n de Energ\u00eda El\u00e9ctrica (EPRI<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

La Directora de Innovaci\u00f3n y Tecnolog\u00eda de GDES France, Adoraci\u00f3n Arnaldos<\/strong>, ganadora de los premios europeos FEM\u2019Energia 2017, ha sido invitada como mentora en estos talleres sobre el papel de la mujer en el mundo de la ciencia y la tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n

La NEA es la Agencia para la Energ\u00eda Nuclear de la OCDE tambi\u00e9n conocida por sus siglas en espa\u00f1ol AEN. Es una agencia intergubernamental organizada desde la Organizaci\u00f3n para la Cooperaci\u00f3n y el Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico (OCDE) cuyo principal objetivo es promover el uso de la energ\u00eda nuclear con prop\u00f3sitos pac\u00edficos.<\/p>\n

La NEA (Nuclear Energy Agency), promueve estos encuentros de mentoring con el objetivo de aumentar la visibilidad de la mujer trabajadora en el sector cient\u00edfico, e incentivar a las j\u00f3venes y futuras estudiantes para que cursen carreras de ingenier\u00eda y vinculadas al sector nuclear.<\/p>\n

La primera edici\u00f3n de esta iniciativa tuvo lugar en Jap\u00f3n, en agosto de 2017, y se replicar\u00e1 por todo el mundo contando con la participaci\u00f3n de las principales profesionales en tecnolog\u00eda nuclear.<\/p>\n

The international workshop, aimed at girls with an interest in science, was held on 24 September in \u00c1vila, in cooperation with the Spanish Nuclear Safety Council (CSN) as part of the 44th Annual Meeting of the Spanish Nuclear Society.<\/p>\n

More than 40 female students participated in the workshop, which was also attended by NEA Director-General, William D. Magwood<\/strong>, the president of the Spanish Nuclear Society, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Gago<\/strong>, Yeonhee Hah<\/strong>, Head of the Division of Radiological Protection and Human Aspects of Nuclear Safety at OECD and Tina Taylor <\/strong>Senior Director R&D, Deputy Chief Nuclear Officer of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).<\/p>\n

GDES France Innovation and Technology Director, Adoraci\u00f3n Arnaldos<\/strong>, winner of the European FEM\u2019Energia 2017 award, was invited to mentor the workshop on the role of women in the world of science and technology.<\/p>\n

The Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) is an intergovernmental agency that is organized under the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The mission of the NEA is to \u00abassist its member countries in maintaining and further developing, through international co-operation, the scientific, technological and legal bases required for the safe, environmentally friendly and economical use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.\u00bb<\/p>\n

The NEA (Nuclear Energy Agency), an OECD agency, promotes these mentoring meetings with the aim of increasing the visibility of women working in science and encouraging girls and future students to pursue careers in engineering and the nuclear industry.<\/p>\n

The first edition of this initiative took place in Japan, in August 2017, and it will be replicated all over the world with the participation of leading nuclear technology professionals.<\/p>\n

L’Agence pour l’\u00e9nergie nucl\u00e9aire (AEN) est une agence sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e de l’Organisation de coop\u00e9ration et de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomiques (OCDE). L’objectif principal de l’AEN est promouvoir la coop\u00e9ration entre les gouvernements des pays participants pour le d\u00e9veloppement de l’\u00e9nergie nucl\u00e9aire en tant que source d’\u00e9nergie s\u00fbre, acceptable du point de vue de l’environnement et \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n

L’AEN (Agence pour l’\u00e9nergie nucl\u00e9aire) de l’OCDE promeut ces rencontres de mentoring dans le but d’accro\u00eetre la visibilit\u00e9 des femmes actives dans le secteur scientifique et d’encourager les jeunes filles et futures \u00e9tudiantes \u00e0 poursuivre des carri\u00e8res d’ing\u00e9nieurs et li\u00e9es au secteur nucl\u00e9aire.<\/p>\n

La premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de cette initiative a eu lieu au Japon en ao\u00fbt 2017 et sera reproduite dans le monde entier avec la participation d’\u00e9minentes professionnelles de la technologie nucl\u00e9aire.<\/p>\n
