Este sistema <strong>permite digitalizar toda la toma de datos<\/strong>, incluida la imagen de cada uno de los bidones y sus dimensiones, junto al registro totalmente trazable del n\u00famero de identificaci\u00f3n del bid\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El dise\u00f1o y desarrollo, ejecutado por el equipo de GDES Innovaci\u00f3n, se basa en la instalaci\u00f3n de una <strong>plataforma giratoria automatizada<\/strong>, donde se coloca cada bid\u00f3n con ayuda de una gr\u00faa.\u00a0 La base de la plataforma incluye un sistema sensorizado para asegurar el posicionamiento de los bidones y tiene integrado<strong> un brazo robotizado<\/strong> que sostiene el detector para realizar las <strong>medidas radiol\u00f3gicas de tasa de dosis<\/strong> necesarias para su caracterizaci\u00f3n. En este caso, la <strong>automatizaci\u00f3n de la caracterizaci\u00f3n radiol\u00f3gica<\/strong> de bidones de residuos radioactivos reduce de manera significativa la dosis que los t\u00e9cnicos reciben durante la realizaci\u00f3n de este trabajo y permite disponer de informaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s completa para el an\u00e1lisis de resultados e informes de control.[:en]GDES Innovation has delivered and installed the first unit of a new innovative system for the automated radiological characterisation of radioactive waste drums.<\/p>\n<p>The project was developed to <strong>improve radiation safety and reduce dose levels<\/strong>, and to <strong>optimise and digitalise dosimetric and radiological data<\/strong> on waste. The system <strong>digitalises all the recorded data<\/strong>, including an image of each drum and its dimensions, together with a fully traceable record of the drum identification number.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The design and development, completed by the GDES Innovation team, is based on the installation of an <strong>automated rotating platform<\/strong>, where each drum will be placed with the aid of a crane. The base of the platform includes a system of sensors to ensure correct placement of the drums and has an integrated <strong>robotic arm<\/strong> to hold the detector used to perform the <strong>radiological dose-rate measurements<\/strong> required for characterisation. It is also equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) applied to the data on the radiological measurement points of the drum.
