El edificio, obra del arquitecto Santiago Calatrava, es una gran cubierta met\u00e1lica de planta similar a una elipse y cuya estructura principal est\u00e1 compuesta por 98 p\u00f3rticos en ambas fachadas. Los trabajos, con un plazo de ejecuci\u00f3n de diez meses, se centran en la parte interior de la estructura principal e incluyen la<strong> inspecci\u00f3n y rehabilitaci\u00f3n<\/strong> del sistema de revestimiento intumescente.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Para ello, GDES har\u00e1 una fase previa de inspecci\u00f3n y comprobaci\u00f3n del estado de recubrimiento intumescente de esta estructura con trabajos verticales y el apoyo visual de un veh\u00edculo a\u00e9reo no tripulado (DRON). Se realizar\u00e1 una inspecci\u00f3n sobre el 100% de la superficie revestida que es objeto del alcance de esta adjudicaci\u00f3n, incluyendo los 98 p\u00f3rticos met\u00e1licos del edificio y sus arcos longitudinales, con una superficie estimada de <strong>26.500 m2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El objetivo ser\u00e1 verificar el estado actual del sistema de revestimiento intumescente e identificar las zonas que pudieran presentar alg\u00fan tipo de degradaci\u00f3n. Tras esta primera fase de inspecci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis, GDES efectuar\u00e1 los trabajos de rehabilitaci\u00f3n, las reparaciones pertinentes, la preparaci\u00f3n superficial y la aplicaci\u00f3n de una capa de revestimiento protector del sistema ign\u00edfugo a toda la superficie del alcance de este proyecto.<\/p>\n<p>Los trabajos, que comenzaron a finales del mes de marzo, supondr\u00e1n la cuarta gran intervenci\u00f3n para la empresa valenciana GDES en las instalaciones singulares de La Ciutat de les Arts i les Ci\u00e8ncies de Valencia, ya que GDES fue tambi\u00e9n la responsable de las obras de aplicaci\u00f3n de revestimiento anticorrosivo y saneado de la pluma del Palau de les Arts Reina Sof\u00eda en 2016, la aplicaci\u00f3n de pinturas interiores y exteriores en el Museo de les Ci\u00e8ncies en 2007 y la rehabilitaci\u00f3n y aplicaci\u00f3n de pinturas en sus estanques en a\u00f1os anteriores.<\/p>\n<div>[smartslider3 slider=9]<\/div>\n<p>[:en]<span lang=\"EN-GB\">Last February, the City of Arts and Sciences (<i>Ciutat de les Arts i les Ci\u00e8ncies<\/i> &#8211; CAC, S.A.) awarded GDES a contract for restoration work on the finishing coating of the intumescent system of the metal structure of the multifunctional \u00c1gora building in Valencia. The structure, designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava, features a large metal roof with an elliptical floor plan and a main structure comprising 98 porticoes on both fa\u00e7ades. The works, with a completion period of ten months, will focus on the interior of the main structure and include the inspection and restoration of the intumescent coating system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">To this end, GDES will conduct a preliminary stage of inspection and verification of the state of the intumescent coating of this structure by means of rope access works and visual support from an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone). The inspection will cover 100% of the coated surface \u2013 as defined in the scope of the contract \u2013 including the 98 metal porticoes of the building and its longitudinal arches, with an estimated surface area of 26,500 m2. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The objective will be to verify the current state of the intumescent coating system and to identify any areas that present any type of degradation. After this first stage of inspection and analysis, GDES will undertake the restoration works, relevant repairs, surface preparation and application of a layer of protective coating of the fire protection system to the entire surface area included in the scope of this project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The works, which began at the end of March, will be the fourth major intervention for the Valencia-based company GDES at the unique complex of the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia. GDES was also entrusted with the application of anti-corrosion coating and the restoration of the \u201cplume\u201d of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sof\u00eda in 2016, the application of interior and exterior paint to the Museu de les Ci\u00e8ncies in 2007 and the restoration of and application of paint to the reflecting pools in previous years.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>[smartslider3 slider=9]<\/div>\n<p>[:fr]<span lang=\"FR\">En f\u00e9vrier dernier, la Cit\u00e9 des arts et des sciences (<i>Ciutat de les Arts i les Ci\u00e8ncies <\/i>&#8211; CAC, S.A.) a attribu\u00e9 \u00e0 GDES un contrat pour les travaux de restauration du rev\u00eatement de finition du syst\u00e8me intumescent de la structure m\u00e9tallique de l\u2019\u00c1gora, \u00e9difice monumental de Val\u00e8ncia. L\u2019\u00e9difice, con\u00e7u par l\u2019architecte Santiago Calatrava, se caract\u00e9rise par une grande toiture m\u00e9tallique \u00e0 plan elliptique et dont la structure principale est compos\u00e9e de 98 portiques sur les deux fa\u00e7ades. Les travaux, dont le d\u00e9lai d\u2019ex\u00e9cution est de dix mois, portent sur l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de la structure principale et comprennent l\u2019inspection et la restauration du syst\u00e8me de rev\u00eatement intumescent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"FR\">\u00c0 cette fin, GDES r\u00e9alisera une phase pr\u00e9alable d\u2019inspection et de v\u00e9rification de l\u2019\u00e9tat du rev\u00eatement intumescent de cette structure avec des travaux verticaux et le support visuel d\u2019un a\u00e9ronef sans \u00e9quipage \u00e0 bord (DRONE). L\u2019inspection sera r\u00e9alis\u00e9e sur 100 % de la surface rev\u00eatue sur laquelle porte le contrat, incluant les 98 portiques m\u00e9talliques de l\u2019\u00e9difice et ses arcs longitudinaux, d\u2019une surface d&#8217;environ 26\u00a0500 m2. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"FR\">L&#8217;objectif sera de v\u00e9rifier l&#8217;\u00e9tat actuel du syst\u00e8me de rev\u00eatement intumescent et d&#8217;identifier les zones qui pourraient pr\u00e9senter une quelconque d\u00e9gradation. Apr\u00e8s cette premi\u00e8re phase d\u2019inspection et d\u2019analyse, GDES r\u00e9alisera les travaux de restauration, les r\u00e9parations pertinentes, la pr\u00e9paration de la surface et l\u2019application d\u2019un rev\u00eatement de protection du syst\u00e8me ignifuge sur toute la surface concern\u00e9e par ce projet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"FR\">Les travaux, qui ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin du mois de mars, constitueront la quatri\u00e8me intervention majeure de l\u2019entreprise valencienne GDES dans les installations singuli\u00e8res de la Cit\u00e9 des arts et des sciences de Val\u00e8ncia.
