[:es]Grupo Dominguis y Metallisation Inc, empresa británica especializada en equipos de metalización, han llegado a un acuerdo con el fin de aunar sinergias en la distribución de equipos y servicios. Para la compañía española, esta colaboración supone mayores posibilidades de venta del robot Tirant 3 , así como la apertura a otros sectores y países.
Grupo Dominguis y la compañía británica Metallisation Inc han llegado a un convenio de colaboración mediante el cual ésta última, que ya trabajaba como suministradora de material de metalización para el holding valenciano, se convierte en comercial y cliente de distribución de venta del robot Tirant 3.
Este acuerdo está generando interesantes contactos y clientes potenciales para el grupo empresarial español, lo que supone mayor posibilidad de venta del robot y la apertura a otros sectores industriales, además del nuclear donde ya se han desarrollado proyectos de metalización con el Tirant 3.
Éxito del Tirant 3 El robot móvil desarrollado por Titania, entidad perteneciente al Grupo Dominguis, en colaboración Robotnik, empresa Valenciana especializada en robótica industrial, se emplea para metalizar las tuberías sujetas a problemas de corrosión-rosión, tanto en las centrales nucleares como en otras instalaciones que lo requieran, tales como las navales o petroquímicas. La metalización es un recubrimiento metálico que se utiliza como tratamiento anticorrosivo en ambientes agresivos. Se emplea en muchos ámbitos, entre ellos el nuclear, pero donde más proyección puede tener es en el petroquímico.
La importancia del equipo reside en la automatización del servicio, reduciendo los riesgos laborales e incrementando la calidad del recubrimiento. Hasta el momento, el trabajo de proyección del metal fundido se hacía de forma manual, en ocasiones, en condiciones realmente adversas, por lo que el operario debía ir provisto de traje, guantes, gafas especiales, incluso de respiración autónoma, pero con el Tirant 3 se evitan riesgos y se consiguen un excelente rendimiento.

Success of the Tirant 3
The mobile robot developed by Titania (an entity belonging to the Grupo Dominguis) in collaboration with Robotnik (a Valencia company specialising in industrial robotics) is used to metallise pipes with corrosion-rosion problems in both nuclear power stations and other installations needing this treatment, such as shipping or petrochemical facilities. Metallisation is a metal coating that is used as an anti-corrosive treatment in aggressive environments. It is used in many sectors, including that of nuclear power, but is most frequently found in the petrochemical sector.
The importance of the equipment lies in the automation of the service so as to reduce occupational hazards and increase the quality of the coating. Up until now the work of projecting molten metal was done manually, sometimes under very adverse conditions that obliged the worker to use protective clothing, gloves, special goggles, and even independent breathing mapparatus, but with the Tirant 3 risks are avoided and an excellent result is obtained.
