Grupo Dominguis Energy Services (GDES) is a family-owned group of companies with an international scope, with more than 95 years of experience in providing industrial services for the energy sector. The Group began its operations in 1932, as Pinturas J. Dominguis, dedicated to the application of coatings in residential and industrial construction. In 1975, and as GRUPO DOMINGUIS, it entered the nuclear sector, carrying out coating application services during the construction of the Almaraz and Cofrentes nuclear power plants.

Throughout its history, GD Energy Services has undergone an intensive service diversification process that has positioned the Group today as one of the companies with the strongest growth potential in the energy sector. GDES has not only participated in the construction of the main Spanish Nuclear Power Plants in the late 1970s, but also in their maintenance and decommissioning, taking part in the complete lifecycle of the plants. It is in this field, the decommissioning, where GDES is a leading reference at the European level, being a participating company in the execution of various projects not only in Spain but also in Italy, Sweden, France, and the United Kingdom.
