[:es]El equipo de investigadores se ha ubicado en la Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación, junto a los institutos más punteros. Se inaugura con 14 proyectos en marcha y una inversión prevista para 2013 de un millón de euros.
El Centro se inauguró el pasado 13 de diciembre, en un acto celebrado en el Auditorio del Cubo Azul de la Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación, presidido por el Conseller de Economía, Industria, Turismo y Empleo, Máximo Buch, en representación del M.H. President de la Generalitat; el Rector de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), Juan Juliá; el Presidente de Grupo Dominguis, José Dominguis, y el Consejero Delegado, Héctor Dominguis. En el acto también intervino el Director del Instituto de Telecomunicaciones y Aplicaciones Multimedia (iTEAM) de la UPV y Premio Rey Jaime I de Nuevas Tecnologías, José Capmany.
Previamente al acto oficial de inauguración, el Conseller, el Rector, representantes de las organizaciones empresariales y clientes, acompañados por el Presidente y el Consejero Delegado de Grupo Dominguis, visitaron las nuevas instalaciones del Innovation Center donde los investigadores del Centro dieron todo tipo de información sobre los trabajos en los laboratorios, sobre los proyectos en curso y los equipos que había en la exposición.
Este nuevo emplazamiento cuenta con 400 m2, y comprende los laboratorios: de ingeniería química, de robótica e instrumentación industrial, y de diseño y desarrollo de proyectos. También incluye una zona de exposición, en la que se muestran varios equipos y robots diseñados por Grupo Dominguis, más una sala de reuniones, almacén, vestuarios y despachos. Se inaugura con 14 proyectos en marcha orientados al sector de la energía (nuclear, termosolar y eólica), a la mejora de los equipos especiales de protección radiológica, y a emergencias. La inversión prevista para 2013 es de un millón de euros.
En su intervención de apertura del Acto, el Conseller, Máximo Buch, ha felicitado a Grupo Dominguis por estos 80 años de esfuerzo en los que han demostrado su capacidad de adaptación, su espíritu emprendedor y su visión de futuro. Y ha apuntado: “Grupo Dominguis es el modelo de empresa que perseguimos desde este gobierno: una empresa innovadora con proyección exterior y que ejerce un importante efecto tractor sobre otros sectores industriales de nuestra Comunitat”.
El Rector de la UPV, Juan Juliá, ha manifestado también su satisfacción por este acuerdo con Grupo Dominguis para su instalación en la CPI, por ser un claro ejemplo de la colaboración Universidad/Empresa. Ha destacado también la aventura empresarial con Titania, spin off en la que participa la Universidad Politécnica. En su intervención, el Rector ha destacado la importancia en la valorización del conocimiento y transferencia de resultados de investigación: “Hay que hacer políticas que incentiven esta transferencia, porque crear actividad basada en el conocimiento mejora la competitividad de las empresas”.
La Dirección de Grupo Dominguis considera estratégico el papel de Titania (Empresa de Base Tecnológica) y su colaboración con la UPV para su crecimiento e internacionalización. “En los momentos actuales, los esfuerzos e inversiones que estamos dedicando a I+D+i, son absolutamente necesarios para mantener un alto grado de competitividad, y más en el fuerte proceso de internacionalización en el que estamos inmersos”, afirma Héctor Dominguis. Asimismo, estima “que la ubicación en el parque científico de la UPV hará posible la consecución de los objetivos de desarrollo en los próximos años y será uno de los pilares de la creación de sinergias entre nuestro equipo de I+D+i y los grupos e institutos de investigación de la UPV”, asegura.
Una historia de tres generaciones
En el mismo acto de la inauguración a la que asistieron más de 200 invitados del mundo institucional, empresarial y académico, se presentó el libro Grupo Dominguis. 80 años. Tres generaciones,publicado con motivo del 80 aniversario de la instalación en Valencia de la primera empresa origen del Grupo. El ejemplar, escrito y dirigido por el periodista Francisco Pérez Puche, recoge, en sus más de 200 páginas, la historia de un emprendedor nato, Joaquín Dominguis Cardona (1902-1986), las vivencias de la familia en la empresa y la experiencia en la formación del Grupo. Se distribuirá exclusivamente entre clientes, representantes empresariales, autoridades relacionadas con la empresa y personal del Grupo.[:en]The research team will be housed in the Polytechnic City for Innovation complex, along with the leading institutes. The Centre was inaugurated on December 13th, 2012 during a session held in the Blue Cube Auditorium of the Polytechnic City for Innovation complex and presided over by the Councillor for Economy, Industry, Trade and Employment, Máximo Buch; the rector of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Juan Juliá; the executive chairman of the Dominguis Group, José Dominguis, and its Managing Director, Héctor Dominguis. Also participating in the session was the Director of the UPV Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications Institute (iTEAM) and Rey Jaime I prize-winner for New Technologies, José Capmany.
Prior to the official opening, the Counselor, the Rector, representatives from the various business organisations and clients, accompanied by Grupo Dominguis’ President and the CEO visited the new facilities of the Innovation Centre, where the research personnel provided in-depth information regarding the work carried out in the laboratories, the projects underway and the equipment in the showroom.
The new site measures 400 m2 and includes a chemical engineering laboratory, a robotics and industrial instrumentation laboratory and a project design and development laboratory. It also includes an exhibition area highlighting several items of equipment and robots designed by Grupo Dominguis. It has been inaugurated with 14 on-going projects relating to the energy sector (nuclear, thermal solar and wind energy) and the enhancement of special emergency and radiation protection equipment. The investments foreseen for 2013 amount to one million Euros.
The Management of the Group considers the role played by Titania and its collaboration with the UPV to be of strategic importance for its growth and internationalisation. “The efforts and investments that we are currently making in the area of R&D&i are absolutely necessary in order to maintain a high degree of competitiveness, especially in view of the important process of internationalisation in which we are involved”, said Héctor Dominguis. He also believes that the location of the centre in the UPV scientific complex will allow the development objectives to be achieved in the coming years and that it will be “one of the building blocks for the creation of synergies between our R&D team and the UPV research groups and institutes”. The rector of the UPV, Juan Julià, has also spoken in these terms, underlining the significance of the business venture with Titania, a spin-off in which this academic institution is participating. In his intervention, Julià stressed the importance of knowledge appreciation and the transfer of research results. “There is a need for policies encouraging such transfers, because creating activity based on knowledge improves the competitiveness of companies”.
The Councillor for Economy, Industry, Trade and Employment, Máximo Buch, congratulated Grupo Dominguis for its 80 years of effort, during which time it has demonstrated its capacity to adapt, its entrepreneurial spirit and its forward-looking vision. He stressed: “Grupo Dominguis is the type of company that this government is striving for: an innovative company with an international projection that has an important knock-on effect on other industrial sectors in our region”.
A story of three generations
Coinciding with the inauguration, attended by some 200 guests from the institutional, business and academic worlds, the Dominguis Group presented the book Grupo Dominguis. 80 años. Tres generaciones, published to celebrate the Group’s 80th anniversary. In its more than 200 pages, the book, written and directed by the journalist Francisco Pérez Puche, covers the story of a born entrepreneur, the experiences of the family in the business and the development of the Group. It will be distributed exclusively among the Group’s clients, business representatives, authorities relevant to the company and employees.[:fr]Le Centre de recherche sera situé à la Cité polytechnique de l’Innovation, à proximité des instituts les plus avancés. Le Centre a été inauguré le 13 décembre dernier au cours d’un acte organisé à l’auditorium du Cube bleu de la Cité polytechnique de l’Innovation, sous la présidence de MM. Máximo Buch, Conseiller municipal de l’Économie, industrie, commerce et emploi ; Juan Julià, Recteur de l’Université polytechnique de Valence (UPV) ; José Dominguis, Président de Grupo Dominguis ; et Héctor Dominguis, Administrateur délégué. À cet acte est également intervenu le Directeur de l’Institut des Télécommunications et Applications multimédias (iTEAM) de l’UPV et prix Rey Jaime I de Nouvelles technologies, José Capmany.
Avant la cérémonie officielle d´ouverture, le Ministre de la Région Valencienne d´Industrie, le Recteur, les représentants des organisations professionnelles et les clients, accompagnés du CEO et du Président Directeur Général du Grupo Dominguis, ont visité les nouvelles installations de l´Innovation Center où les chercheurs du Centre ont donné toutes sortes d´informations sur les travaux en laboratoires, sur les projets en cours et les machines qu´il y avait en exposition.
Le nouveau site s’étend sur 400 m2, il comprend des bureaux, un laboratoire d’ingénierie chimique, un laboratoire de robotique et instrumentation industrielle et un autre de conception et développement de projets. Il compte également une zone d’exposition où sont présentés différents appareils et robots conçus par Grupo Dominguis. Il a été inauguré avec 14 projets en marche, orientés vers le secteur de l’énergie (nucléaire, thermo-solaire et éolienne) et l’amélioration des appareils spéciaux pour des situations critiques. L’investissement prévu pour 2013 est d’un million d’euros.
La Direction du Groupe considère comme stratégique le rôle de Titania et sa collaboration avec l’UPV pour sa croissance et son internationalisation. « À l’heure actuelle, nos efforts et investissements en R+D+i sont absolument nécessaires pour préserver un niveau élevé de compétitivité, notamment pour le processus décisif d’internationalisation dans lequel nous sommes plongés » a affirmé Héctor Dominguis. Il estime en outre que la situation dans le parc scientifique de l’UPV permettra d’atteindre les objectifs de développement ces prochaines années, et qu’elle représente « l’un des piliers de la création de synergies entre notre équipe de R+D et les groupes et instituts de recherche de l’UPV ». C’est dans ce sens que s’est exprimé le recteur de l’UPV, Juan Julià, soulignant lui aussi l’aventure engagée avec Titania, spin off où participe cette institution académique. Dans son intervention, Julià a insisté sur l’importance de l’évaluation de la connaissance et du transfert des résultats des recherches : « Il faut des politiques qui favorisent ce transfert, parce que la création d’activité basée sur la connaissance se traduit par une meilleure compétitivité des entreprises ».
Máximo Buch, Conseiller municipal de l’Économie, industrie, commerce et emploi, a félicité Grupo Dominguis pour ces 80 ans de travail acharné, au cours desquels il a démontré sa capacité d’adaptation, son esprit d’entreprise et sa vision du futur, signalant que « Grupo Dominguis est le modèle d’entreprise auquel aspire notre gouvernement : une entreprise innovatrice à projection extérieure, qui exerce un effet significatif de traction sur d’autres secteurs industriels de notre région ».

À l’inauguration, à laquelle ont assisté quelque 200 invités du monde institutionnel, entrepreneurial et académique, Grupo Dominguis a présenté le livre Grupo Dominguis. 80 años. Tres generaciones, [Grupo Dominguis. 80 ans. Trois générations] publié pour le 80e anniversaire du Groupe. L’ouvrage, écrit et dirigé par le journaliste Francisco Pérez Puche, narre en plus de 200 pages l’histoire d’un entrepreneur dans l’âme, le vécu de la famille dans l’entreprise et l’expérience acquise avec la formation du Groupe. Il sera distribué en exclusivité aux clients, représentants d’entreprises, autorités en relation avec l’entreprise et personnel du Groupe.[:]
